Responsibilities
- Leads implementation of evidence-based practices to improve patient safety and quality outcomes, ensuring adherence to clinical standards, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Drives standardization and efficiency in clinical practice, patient throughput, and care coordination to optimize outcomes, reduce variation, and manage costs.
- Maintains compliance with internal and external benchmarks, accreditations, and regulatory standards, ensuring continuous improvement and pursuit of excellence.
- Fosters a culture of service excellence by leveraging feedback, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring consistent, positive patient interactions.
- Fosters a high-performing, engaged workforce through coaching, recognition, and development strategies, ensuring clinical competence and role alignment.
- Collaborates with leadership to expand services, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies that drive differentiation and volume.
- Participates in budgeting, monitors financial performance, and implements cost-saving measures while ensuring appropriate staffing and resource utilization.
- Promotes communication and collaboration across departments to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care and optimal staff deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, required.
- Master's Degree, preferred.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
- 3+ years applicable experience in leadership, required.
- 5+ years applicable clinical experience, required.
- Experience in Operating Room or PACU, preferred.
