MUSC Health Hospice at Home by BAYADA is seeking an experienced health care manager to serve as Director in our North Charleston, SC Home Hospice office. Responsibilities
- Share full management responsibility for office operations and functions alongside the Division Director, including client service, clinical operations, employee matters, budgeting, planning, recruiting, and fiscal management.
- Monitor the quality and appropriateness of all services provided by staff to ensure compliance and client satisfaction, while ensuring adequate staff education, training, and evaluation.
- Support your team and grow your office by staying abreast of industry and community trends and referral opportunities.
- Embody The BAYADA Way, representing the organization professionally and warmly to various audiences.
- Establish BAYADA as the home care provider and employer of choice.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Strategically plan and budget for growth, oversee marketing, and program development.
- Hire, develop, and supervise high-potential office employees, including successor planning.
- Develop and implement a recruitment strategy for field staff to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Manage the office in relation to BAYADA Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct program administration and evaluation.
- Represent the organization to other groups, agencies, and the general public using accurate public information materials.
- Inform the governing body and staff of current organizational, community, and industry trends.
- Monitor accounts receivable and collections.
Requirements
- RN or BSN preferred.
- Minimum two years of verifiable supervisory or management experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in home health care or hospice.
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations, including OASIS and PPS, preferred.
- Knowledge of North Carolina regulations.
- Demonstrated record of goal achievement and successfully taking on increased responsibility with positive results.
- Proven interpersonal, recruiting, and employee relations skills.
- Proven ability to organize, manage, market, and grow an office.
- Demonstrated PC and communication skills, especially in networking with the community and representing the organization.
- Ambition to grow and advance beyond current position and responsibilities.
- Hospice experience preferred.
