Clinical Director (BCBA)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Director (BCBA) to provide leadership and clinical oversight for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services supporting adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight for ABA services, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).
• Supervise, mentor, and support BCBAs, Behavior Specialists, and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
• Review, approve, and monitor Behavior Support Plans before implementation.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Lead clinical meetings, Behavior Management Committee (BMC) meetings, and interdisciplinary team discussions.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide clinical supervision and required oversight for RBTs and Behavior Specialists.
• Participate in Individualized Service Plan (ISP) and Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings.
• Oversee clinical rounds, restraint tracking, NJCAT reassessments, and on-call clinical support.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective service delivery.
• Adjust caseloads and clinical programming based on individual needs.
• Stay current with ABA best practices through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field with a concentration in Behavioral Analysis.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with adults exhibiting challenging behaviors.
• Strong experience conducting FBAs, developing BSPs, and supervising clinical staff.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary: $90,000-$110,000

• On-call responsibilities for assigned cases
• Occasional weekend support as needed
