Salmon Surgery Center is a fast-paced, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) committed to delivering the highest quality care and experience for patients and their families.

About the role

The Clinical Director oversees the day-to-day operations of clinical areas (including OR and Pre-OP/PACU) and implements process initiatives to improve service efficiency and patient experience. Reporting to the ASC Administrator, the Clinical Director collaborates on fiscal accountability, policy development, and staff performance evaluation. Responsibilities include staff credentialing, preventative safety measures, risk management, and enhancing patient care and clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of clinical areas (OR, Pre-OP/PACU).
  • Implement process initiatives to improve efficiency and patient experience.
  • Collaborate with ASC Administrator on fiscal accountability and policy development.
  • Evaluate staff performance and oversee staff credentialing.
  • Manage preventative safety measures and risk management duties.
  • Use clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a professional school of Nursing; BSN or higher degree required.
  • Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Washington state.
  • Perioperative experience.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in outpatient surgery.
  • Demonstrated clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
  • Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities.
  • Current BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification accredited by AHA.

Pay

Starting annual salary range: $106,000 - $132,000, depending on experience.

Schedule

Monday–Friday work schedule. No call, nights, weekends, or holiday hours required.
