Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to therapists, counselors, and BHTs, ensuring clinical excellence and adherence to treatment protocols
- Develop and implement clinical programming, ensuring alignment with state and federal regulations, industry standards, and organizational goals
- Oversee admissions, discharges, and extensions of treatment, ensuring decisions align with patient needs and clinical best practices
- Maintain and deliver effective treatment schedules, staff schedules, and group therapy offerings
- Carry a case load pending census
- Provide direct clinical supervision to therapists and counselors working toward licensure
- Ensure ongoing training and professional development opportunities for clinical staff, enhancing knowledge in addiction treatment and evidence-based practices
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback, coaching, and corrective actions as necessary
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations, and accreditation requirements
- Conduct regular audits of patient records, documentation, and treatment plans to maintain quality and compliance
- Participate in utilization review meetings, representing patient needs in both clinical and financial considerations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve clinical operations and enhance patient outcomes
- Mediate patient and family concerns regarding treatment delivery, ensuring a patient-centered approach
- Collaborate with medical staff, case management, and social services to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
- Stay current with emerging trends in addiction treatment and integrate new research into clinical programming
Qualifications
- Full supervision licensure (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT) required upon hire
- Full LCAS licensure required upon hire
- CPR certification required (training will be provided)
- Three years of experience in managing clinical programs preferred
