Clinical Dietitian Part-time 64 hours/pp

About the Role

Under the direct supervision of the Coordinator, Clinical Nutrition, this position provides medical nutrition therapy for patients to help achieve adequate nutritional status. Responsibilities may include nutritional assessments to determine the need for nutritional supplements or nutrition support, as well as nutrition education to help achieve lifestyle changes or diet modifications. The Dietitian is also accountable for completing other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy for patients.
• Conduct nutritional assessments to determine need for nutritional supplements or nutrition support.
• Deliver nutrition education to support lifestyle changes and diet modifications.
• Complete other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition (Required).
• Dietitian license in the State of Missouri (Required).

Experience

Two to three years of experience in hospital medical nutrition therapy is preferred.
