Clinical Dietitian Lead

About the role

• Provides nutrition screening, assessment and education to patients to meet their nutritional needs as indicated by diet orders prescribed by medical staff.
• All services provided within the scope of practice for Registered Dietitians as defined by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Works in an interdisciplinary team fashion with other patient care providers.
• Supervises the clinical staff and is responsible for professional development within the clinical team.
• Establishes policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Maintains current registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (ADA Registered Dietitian or Commission on Dietetic Registration).
• Minimum completion of Bachelor’s Degree (four year accredited program) in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field.
• One to two years clinical experience in a healthcare facility preferred.

Skills

• CDE or CNSD preferred.
• Strong customer service skills preferred.

Pay

Hourly wage estimate: $26.65 - $41.10 per hour. The estimate represents the typical wage range of candidates hired; actual salary may be based on specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in the role. Typical candidates are hired below the midpoint of the range.
