Clinical Dietitian - Inpatient
Location: Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Boise
Status: Full time, day shift
About the role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Clinical Dietitian for an inpatient, full-time position. In this role, you will play a key role in helping patients build the knowledge and confidence to manage their condition effectively. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a clinical setting and is committed to improving health outcomes through compassionate, evidence-based care.
Floors included: ICU, CMU, and Medicine units.
Responsibilities
- Complete nutrition assessments
- Monitor nutrition care plans
- Interact with interdisciplinary team members
- Serve as a nutrition resource for patients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, or related field required
- Registered Dietitian – Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
- Must be licensed in state of employee’s primary work location within 90 days of hire
- Master’s Degree preferred
- 3-5 years of clinical nutrition experience is preferred
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in an electronic health record
Schedule
Full time, 8-hour shifts. Weekdays and occasional weekends.
