CLINICAL DIETITIAN- Inpatient

About the role

Assess, plan, and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the standards of nutrition therapy. Provide care for inpatient and/or outpatient caseload. Occasional weekend and/or holiday coverage if staffing needs warrant. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team regarding the needs of the patient. Opportunities to contribute to presentations, publications, supervision of students/interns, and execution of departmental education efforts which will contribute to advancement in the Clinical Ladder.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and reassessment of assigned patients in accordance to established standards of care and practice including selecting assessment tools, tests and measures, goal setting, etc.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team planning and coordination of care.
• Participate in education in-services, presentations, etc., as needed.
• Accurately perform documentation on each evaluation and treatment session within the electronic medical record and accurately document billing charges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition
• Current Registration with CDR or RD eligible with successful registration within 6 months of hire date
• Temporary Florida licensure required if not currently licensed in the State of Florida
• BLS Certification
• One year of clinical experience preferred. Clinical experience in an acute care hospital during Dietitian externship will be accepted.

Pay

Salary Range: $63,377.60 - $96,699.20. Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
