About the role
The Clinical Critical Access Hospital Manager- ER role is a fully onsite position at Paoli Hospital, supporting the Emergency Department. The role requires availability to round evenings and weekends and be on call every fourth weekend.
Responsibilities
- Translate and achieve strategic priorities and outcomes for quality and safety improvements, care affordability, great patient experiences, and great team member experiences.
- Lead an inter-professional team to create an environment where the team is empowered to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes.
- Advocate for and consistently embed evidenced-based practices and professional nursing standards.
- Oversee the unit that is operational and staffed 24 x 7, weekends, and holidays at a designated critical access hospital.
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Nursing (BSN).
- If bachelor degree not in nursing, a Master of Nursing (MSN).
- A Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- A specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership is preferred.
- An active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
