Clinical Coordinator Sleep Services
Job Summary
Exhibits the knowledge and skills required for care of patients in the specialty area of Sleep Medicine. Acts as the liaison between various healthcare providers, patients, equipment supply companies and the Sleep Lab. Collaborates with a multifaceted team to help manage patient care and prescribed treatments. Develops and implements standards to enhance the quality of care to the population served. Provides excellent communication and customer service to patients. Provide backup for front office tasks as well as the home sleep testing program.
Qualifications
Required Education: Associate’s Degree
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Required License: BLS certification and one of the following RPSGT, REEGT, RRT or CRT
Preferred License: Certification in Clinical Sleep Health (CCSH)
Required Experience: 1 year of experience in either a Sleep Lab, Respiratory Department or DME company.
Preferred Experience: Two years’ experience in performing and scoring polysomnograms, setting up home sleep testing or working e in Respiratory/Cardiopulmonary.
Computer skills.
Proven ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with other healthcare providers, patients, staff, pharmaceutical reps and DME companies.
