Clinical Coordinator Radiography

Responsibilities

• Correlate and coordinate clinical education and evaluate its effectiveness
• Evaluate the progress of student performance in the clinical area
• Afford assistance to the Program Director in coordinating clinical education
• Supervise student performance at clinical affiliates
• Develop student objectives and evaluation tools for clinical education
• Perform competency-based clinical evaluations
• Maintain student clinical assignments
• Act as a resource to radiography students
• Afford assistance in continuous program assessment
• Afford assistance to clinical staff in maintaining and improving skills relating to student supervision
• Conduct film evaluation with students
• Instruct specific units of teaching as necessary
• Maintain current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progress
• Pursue continuing education in professional practice and instructional methodology
• Cooperate with the Program Director in periodic review and revision of clinical course material
• Provide training and education to clinical preceptors
• Travel to affiliate clinical sites (6)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Graduate of an educational program in Radiology
• Holds American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or equivalent State certificate as a Radiologic Technologist
• Two years of clinical experience as a radiographer
• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and counseling

Maximum Salary: USD $95,000.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary: USD $76,000.00/Yr.
