Job Description
As a Charge Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide day-to-day guidance, support, and direction to direct patient care staff. You will participate in department staffing, hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions. You will ensure compliance with company and facility procedures and policies, as well as state and federal regulations. You will train and orient staff, observe and guide them, and promote compliance with OSHA programs.
Success Profile
- Manage daily operations to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Oversee the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient care.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to develop care plans for patients.
- Assume primary responsibility in emergency situations and communicate concerns to the rounding physician.
- Monitor and supervise patient care activities during dialysis and assist as necessary.
- Administer medications and act as a resource for staff members.
- Safely operate and verify all equipment used in direct patient care.
- Complete required training and certifications.
