Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Clinical Coordinator - Charge Registered Nurse - Dialysis to manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. The role supports the organization's mission to deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day.
Job Description
- Provide day-to-day guidance, support, and direction to direct patient care staff, offering ongoing feedback and formal evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with all company and facility procedures and regulations, including state and federal guidelines.
- Manage staffing and make hiring, firing, and disciplinary decisions as needed.
- Participate in patient care plan meetings and maintain up-to-date knowledge of dialysis practices through in-services.
- Train and orient staff, observe and guide them, and ensure adherence to facility policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by promoting compliance with OSHA programs.
- Assume primary responsibility during emergencies and communicate patient concerns to the rounding physician.
- Administer medications as per physician’s orders, act as a resource for staff, and supervise the completion of care plans.
- Supervise the admission of new patients and educate them about End Stage Renal Disease, dialysis therapy, diet, and medication.
- Monitor and supervise patient care activities, operate and verify equipment, and document patient information accurately.
- Coordinate with other RNs and participate in monthly Quality Assurance meetings.

- Prior direct patient care experience, especially in dialysis settings.
