RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for Monmouth Medical Center - Southern Campus, a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital. This facility is Ocean County’s largest and most active health care provider, serving over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients, and 73,700 emergency department patients annually.

A Day in the Life of a Clinical Care Tech (Video)

Responsibilities

• Direct patient caregiver assisting with activities of daily living and providing nursing care, including phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Provide patient care based on physical, educational, safety, and age-specific criteria.
• Ensure effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment, and critical actions.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding patient status.
• Collaborate on the patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitions.
• Perform additional duties as required; responsibilities may change with or without notice.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (American Heart Association).

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

Schedule

• Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• 36 hours per week

Pay

The anticipated hourly wage range for this position in New Jersey is $21.04 - $26.19 per hour. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.
