The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Trinitas Oncology Care Unit 23 bed capacity. Our care management consists of care bundles based on evidence-based practices that are executed with compassion and caring. The Clinical Care Technician functions under the direct supervision of a professional nurse. He/she performs specific duties and is considered an integral part of the nursing team. He/she will assist the nurse in gathering information and making observations regarding the patient s condition. As a Clinical Care Technician (CCT), a typical day may include: Promotes and implements in conjunction with RN the concept of patient and family-centered careObserves and reports patient responses to intervention treatmentsPrepare the patient environment for admission or transfer from another area of hospitalGreet and escorts newly admitted patients and families to patient rooms and orients to surroundingsAssures that all patients always have appropriate identification bands onPrepares patient for meals, assists in feeding and/or feeds patient and reports food intake to RN Qualifications Required: High School DiplomaBLS Certification through American Heart Association onlyEnrolled in a Nursing Program, current EMT certification, Medical Assistant Certified, Phlebotomist Certified, EKG tech or equivalent Scheduling Requirements Nights 3:00PM - 11:30PMSchedule during the week will vary depending on department needsFull-Time (40 hrs)Mandatory Orientation Benefits And Perks At RWJBarnabas Health, our employees are at the heart of everything we do.
