Clinical Cardiologist

About the role

MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a full-time clinical cardiologist (non-interventional) for their Biddeford based practice with inpatient duties at Maine Medical Center and outpatient activity centered in their Scarborough ambulatory center.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient, outpatient, and consultative services to a team of over 50 cardiologists.
• Work closely with other regional hospitals to build a coordinated network of cardiology services.
• Teach and mentor medical students from the Maine Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine Medical School Program.
• Teach and mentor Cardiology Fellows at Maine Medical Center.
• Participate in direct patient care, research, and education.

Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification/Board Eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing clinical care to patients with cardiovascular disease.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based care model.
• Strong academic background with potential for an academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine.
