Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology (Practitioner) CHLA

About the role
The Division of Neurology, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC) are actively seeking a neurologist with training in child neurology and neuromuscular medicine as a full-time faculty member for the position of Clinical Associate of Neurology and Pediatrics (Practitioner) and as a division director for CHLA’s neuromuscular program.
Responsibilities
- Oversee over a dozen clinical trials, multidisciplinary care clinics, a CCS02-accredited clinical program, and work with the Chief of Neurology and Chair of Pediatrics to guide advances in neuromuscular clinical care, engagement in cutting-edge clinical trials, and research.
- Lead educational initiatives for pediatric, child neurology, and adult neurology trainees with other members of the neuromuscular team.
- Work with the Chief of Neurology and Chair of Pediatrics to guide advances in neuromuscular clinical care, engagement in cutting-edge clinical trials, and research.
- Take on a role as the director of research for the neurological institute if qualified and interested.
Requirements
- Training in child neurology and neuromuscular medicine.
- Experience in overseeing clinical trials and multidisciplinary care clinics.
- Ability to lead educational initiatives for trainees.
- Experience working with the Chief of Neurology and Chair of Pediatrics.
- Interest in taking on a role as the director of research for the neurological institute.
Qualifications
- MD degree.
- Board certification in Child Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine.
- Experience in managing and directing clinical trials and multidisciplinary care clinics.
- Strong leadership and educational skills.
- Experience in engaging in cutting-edge clinical trials and research.
- Interest in taking on a role as the director of research for the neurological institute.

Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $116,505-$417,709.
