Clinical Assistant Professor, Periodontology
Job Description
The University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD) is recruiting a full-time, non-tenure accruing Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontology. The position will focus on pre-doctoral and graduate level didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical instruction, participation in intramural faculty practice, and opportunities for research collaboration.
Classification Minimum Requirements
- DDS, DMD or equivalent degree.
- Advanced training in Periodontology from a CODA-accredited postgraduate program.
- Training in oral implantology, advanced surgical techniques.
- Training and certification (or eligible for certification) in conscious sedation (intra-venous).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience of predoctoral and/or advanced education in periodontology.
- Board certification.
Expected Salary
The salary and rank are commensurate with education and experience.
