Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor - Periodontics

Duties And Responsibilities

• Full participation in all aspects of periodontic clinical instruction rotations and simulation lab instruction of predoctoral dental students.
• Teaching will include didactic courses and direct supervision of patient care.
• Participation in committee assignments.
• Eventually directorship of predoctoral courses as teaching development progresses.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• DMD/DDS degree from a US or Canadian dental school recognized by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation or a comparable international degree.
• Completed an Advanced Dental Education Program in Periodontics accredited by the ADA Commission on Dental Accreditation, or a comparable international program.
• A current, unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin or be eligible for a Wisconsin dental faculty license by the time of appointment.
• Current CPR certification.

• Previous clinical teaching experience.
• The potential for teaching excellence.
• High-quality research.

Pay

Academic rank and salary are commensurate with training and experience.
