Clinical Assistant Professor - Family Nurse Practitioner
Qualifications
- Doctorate in nursing or related field required.
- Master's degree in nursing from a professionally accredited school of nursing if the doctorate is not in nursing.
- National certification in clinical specialty area required.
- Candidate must possess an unencumbered license as a registered nurse in Texas.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner required.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience required.
- Published in peer-reviewed articles.
Requirements
The anticipated start date for the qualified applicant begins as early as August 2023 and the search will continue until the position is filled.
Responsibilities
Ongoing curriculum development and evaluation;
Classroom and clinical instruction in the undergraduate and graduate programs using on-site, simulation, online, and distance education strategies;
Some travel;
Participation in college and university committees;
Engaging in scholarship, service, and academic advising.
