Clinical Assistant Professor Faculty Position in Speech-Language Pathology (2 Positions)
About the role
The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) invites applications and nominations for two, full-time, Clinical Assistant Professor positions in Speech-Language Pathology. This full-time, 9-month faculty appointment offers an opportunity to join UTEP's Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, which is committed to advancing multicultural/multilingual education, interprofessional practice, and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Involvement in graduate and undergraduate teaching
- Providing on-campus and off-campus clinical supervision
- Advising students
- Guiding student research projects
- Engaging in professional and scholarly activities
- Serving the university and the community
- Participating in accreditation-related duties
Requirements
- Earned master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences & Disorders, Speech/Hearing Science, or related field
- Credentialed and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with eligibility in Texas and minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of Audiology/Speech-Language Pathology
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Earned or actively engaged in the pursuit of a doctoral degree (PhD or SLP-D), experience in clinical supervision at graduate and post graduate level (CFY/CCC), specialty emphasis in any area in speech-language pathology
