Must be skilled in clinical care, research, and/or education. Job Description: The University of Florida is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Anesthesiology, Division of Critical Care Med./Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology of the UF College of Medicine hospital and facilities within Gainesville, Florida, with duties and responsibilities comprised of direct patient care and clinical teaching/training of medical students, residents, and fellows. This involves managing/performing adult cardiopulmonary bypass clinical cases, assisting with adult heart transplants, working closely with newly hired thoracic/transplant surgeons, and actively participating in mechanical circulatory support (“MCS”), and extracorporeal life support (“ECLS”) programs, as well as enriching the institution's strong fellowship program. Required Qualifications MD degree or equivalent. Possession or eligibility for a Florida MD License and be ABA certified or eligible. Must be skilled in clinical care, research, and/or education.
