Clinical Assistant
Responsibilities
- Aiding in the daily treatment, care, and services provided to individuals.
- Participating in the development and execution of individualized residential habilitation plans.
- Supporting the implementation of interdisciplinary team plans.
- Respecting individuals' choices, lifestyles, and dignity while encouraging them to take informed risks.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An associate degree is preferred.
- At least one year of work experience with developmental disabilities is required.
- The applicant must be at least 18 years old.
- The applicant must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- The applicant must have a valid New York State driver's license in good standing.
- The applicant must complete OPWDD Medication Administration Certification, First Aid/CPR Certification, and SCIP-R Certification within the first three months of employment.
- The applicant must complete additional program-specific training within the first six months of employment.
Compensation
Compensation range: $18.69 - $19.80 per hour, commensurate with experience, program acuity, shift differentials, and completion of additional trainings.
