Clinical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aiding in the daily treatment, care, and services provided to individuals.
• Participating in the development and execution of individualized residential habilitation plans.
• Supporting the implementation of interdisciplinary team plans.
• Respecting personal choices, lifestyles, and dignities of the individuals being supported.
• Taking informed risks in accordance with the individuals' preferences.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An associate degree is preferred.
• At least one year of work experience with developmental disabilities is required.
• The applicant must be at least 18 years old.
• The applicant must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• The applicant must possess a valid NYS driver's license in good standing.
• The applicant must complete OPWDD Medication Administration Certification, First Aid/CPR Certification, and SCIP-R Certification within the first three months of employment.
• The applicant must complete additional program-specific training within the first six months of employment.

Benefits

Compensation range: $18.69 - $19.80 per hour.
