Clinical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aiding in the daily treatment, care, and services provided to individuals we support.
• Participating as a member of the individual’s planning, implementation, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Implementing individualized residential habilitation services.
• Respecting individuals' personal choices, lifestyles, and dignity while encouraging them to take informed risks.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate degree preferred.
• At least one year of work experience with developmental disabilities is required.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds is necessary.
• A valid New York State driver's license in good standing is required.
• Must complete OPWDD Medication Administration Certification, First Aid/CPR Certification, and SCIP-R Certification within the first three months of employment.
• Additional program-specific training must be completed within the first six months of employment.

At The Center for Disability Services, we offer a competitive compensation range of $18.69 - $19.80 per hour.
