About the role
The Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital at Oklahoma State University (OSU) is seeking an enthusiastic Small Animal Primary Care Veterinarian with a passion for clinical teaching and patient care to join our faculty team.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical service with five other primary care doctors
- Participate in training the next generation of veterinarians
- Work with veterinary specialists to provide the highest standard of veterinary care
- Offer specialty services including small animal internal medicine, dermatology, emergency and critical care, ophthalmology, and behavior
- Provide 24-hour care for all domestic and selected exotic and wildlife species
Requirements
- D.V.M. or equivalent veterinary degree conferred on or before the agreed upon start date
- Field of Study: Small Animal Primary Care
- A minimum of 5 years of small animal general practice, small animal general surgery, small animal dentistry, and/or small animal emergency/urgent care experience
- Eligible for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Oklahoma
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Oklahoma
