Role Description

We are seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist to support the Ultrasound Women’s Health Market. This role provides clinical and technical expertise throughout the sales cycle and post-sale process, partnering with Sales Representatives, Dealers, and the Channel Sales Manager to drive growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Duties And Responsibilities, Other Duties May Be Assigned

  • Deliver clinical and technical instruction during the ultrasound sales cycle and post-sale process to internal and external customers, including on-site visits with physicians and sonographers.
  • Conduct professional ultrasound product demonstrations and post-installation training to customers’ clinical staff.
  • Persuasively demonstrate and communicate the clinical and operational advantages of the system to end-users, influencing purchasing decisions and driving adoption through consultative selling and expertise.
  • Provide clinical and technical support at trade shows and professional conferences.
  • Collaborate with the product management and service teams to share field feedback and improve product performance.
  • Support the sales and service teams with clinical expertise and customer engagement strategies.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction post-installation and proactively address concerns.
  • Ensure escalation situations are managed and resolved promptly and professionally.
  • Afford basic on-site troubleshooting to resolve service-related issues quickly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • RDMS certification required; (OB/GYN and Fetal Echo); must possess excellent knowledge of the technical and clinical aspects of diagnostic ultrasound.
  • 4-10 years of clinical ultrasound experience in MFM, Ob/Gyn and Fetal Echo applications required.
  • Skilled in 2D, 3D and Color Doppler across applications.
  • Must be able to be compliant with hospital credentialing requirements.
  • Previous commercial experience as a Clinical Applications Specialist preferred.
  • Strong market knowledge and competitive attitude.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to perform clinical and product training to all levels of customers.
  • Must be self-motivated, results-oriented and team-focused.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
  • Computer Skills Must be excellent with technology, able to present using a laptop and able demonstrate proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome.
