Responsibilities
- Assists in developing, configuring, and maintaining application systems.
- Follows control processes including requests for changes and enhancements.
- Supports existing clinical information technology systems through routine maintenance, problem management, and troubleshooting.
- Analyzes system needs, investigates solutions, and implements recommendations to senior analysts and management.
- Serves as a liaison between system vendors and internal users and other IS partners.
- Works on all phases of applications systems analysis, programming, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting activities with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Required: Three years of experience in clinical application support/Healthcare Information Technology or five years in clinical experience.
- Without Required Degree: Five years of experience in clinical application support/Healthcare Information Technology or seven years in clinical experience.
- Associate Degree preferred.
- Epic certification must be obtained within 12 weeks of start date.
- Desired: Clinical licensure in relevant area.
