Job Responsibilities
- Independently perform clinical data analysis and case management to support the accurate interpretation of genetic findings, including reanalysis.
- Establish phenotype-genotype correlations across a wide range of genetic disorders using internal resources and professional tools.
- Investigates and interprets complex clinical features of genetic conditions; documents evidence and rationale for variant classification in a clear, standardized format.
- Mets or exceeds productivity and error standards as assigned by the team lead.
- Perform clinical analysis at a moderate case rate.
- Perform other duties as assigned to advance team objectives.
Education, Experience, And Skills
- PhD in Biology, Genetics, or related field, MD or DO with more than 2 years of directly relevant experience in clinical diagnostics (including fellowship)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Demonstrated computer skills, including the ability to maintain high proficiency with internal systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and the Office 365 environment
- At least one year of independent clinical analysis experience
- ABMGG or CCMG certification required
Compensation
Salary is dependent upon country, experience, and credentials.
Work Environment
- This is a fully remote position.
- The employee will work from a home office or other suitable remote location with reliable high-speed internet access.
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled environment using standard office equipment, including a computer, phone, and video conferencing tools.
- Your standard work schedule and hours will be established in collaboration with your leader and may be adjusted to align with evolving business needs.

- Sitting for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day)
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers for typing and mouse operation
- Visual acuity for reading computer screens and documents
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone and video calls
- Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds (office supplies, equipment)
Pay Transparency, Budgeted Range
$202,000—$230,000 AUD
