By integrating technology and healthcare services, it supports members and providers while working to improve healthcare delivery and advance health equity on a broad scale.About the OpportunityThe Clinical Admin Coordinator supports timely access to healthcare by coordinating insurance verification and prior authorization activities. This role works closely with patients, payers, and clinical teams to facilitate authorization processes, maintain compliance with payer requirements, and help ensure patients receive appropriate care without unnecessary delays.Responsibilities• Coordinate insurance verification and prior authorization activities with patients, insurance payers, and clinical teams.• Manage prior authorization processes, including submissions, notifications, appeals, follow-up, and resolution.• Facilitate patient progression through intake and authorization while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and payer requirements.• Track authorization requests and follow up with payers to support timely decisions.• Communicate authorization status and required information clearly to patients and internal stakeholders.• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to insurance verification and authorization activities.• Identify authorization issues and escalate complex cases appropriately.• Support efficient patient care coordination and contribute to a positive customer experience.Requirements• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.• Minimum 18 years of age.• Experience in the healthcare industry and health insurance.• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.• Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday with flexible 8-hour shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local time.• Willingness to work overtime during peak periods and occasional weekends as needed.• Ability to maintain a secure and private work environment.• Reliable wired high-speed internet connection suitable for remote work.Preferred Qualifications• More than 2 years of customer service experience.• Pharmacy experience.• Experience making outbound calls to insurance companies.• Prior authorization experience.• Experience working in a hospital, physician office, or medical clinic.• Clerical or administrative support experience.• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.Pay Range and Compensation Package• Hourly pay range of $18.00–$32.00, based on full-time employment and factors including education, experience, and certifications.• Comprehensive benefits package, subject to eligibility.• Incentive and recognition programs.• Employee equity stock purchase program.• 401(k) contributions, subject to eligibility.
