About the role

This is a field-based position; candidates should reside within a reasonable distance of Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Gainesville, Daytona Beach, Orlando, or the surrounding areas. Reporting to the Sr. District Manager, the Clinical Account Executive will develop and execute territory business plans that align with brand objectives and company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Present approved disease-state and product information to customers using persuasive, compliant selling techniques.
  • Leverage sales analytics and customer intelligence to create high-impact, strategic plans that support brand objectives.
  • Execute sales and marketing strategies within the territory, utilizing cross-functional partners and all approved resources.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of the evolving marketplace, territory dynamics, disease states, and product expertise.
  • Collaborate effectively with all territory partners and external counterparts.
  • Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Comply with all laws, regulations, and policies governing AbbVie’s activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or clinical experience (RN, APRN, PA, RPh).
  • 3+ years of Oncology or Oncology Diagnostics sales experience, including solid tumors, preferred.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales expectations.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and effectively using a consultative selling style.
  • Competitive selling skills and demonstrated ability to work within a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must pass AbbVie’s background check and additional screenings required by some institutions (e.g., immunizations, TB, HIV, hepatitis, drug screening).
  • Regular business travel by air or car is required.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
