Responsibilities

• Abstract clinical process/outcome measure data and related information from the clinical record for assigned patient encounters.
• Work closely with members of the Clinical Registry Team to identify opportunities for process/quality improvement and other special projects as identified.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required).
• Active RN license in the state of Missouri (required).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Clinical chart review and abstraction experience (preferred).

Skills

• Working knowledge of billing/charge codes (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills required, with ability to interact with members of the registry team in a professional and courteous manner.
• Very detail‑oriented, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Computer and Internet experience required; working knowledge of MS Office products and specialized software (e.g., Cerner Powerchart) essential.

Scheduled weekly hours: 40 hours. Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, day shift.
