Clinic Supervisor
Position Summary
As a Clinic Supervisor at Premier, you will play a crucial role in shaping our organizational culture and supporting our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations within an orthopaedic or specialty practice setting
Manage patient flow, provider scheduling, and staffing coordination across providers and locations
Supervise and support front desk staff, medical assistants, cast technicians, APPs, and ancillary clinical staff
Lead onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management for assigned team members
Ensure efficient clinic workflows, including imaging coordination, DME, casting/bracing, and pre- and post-operative processes
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulatory requirements in an outpatient setting
Utilize EMR and practice management systems to support operations and documentation accuracy
Track and analyze key performance metrics such as productivity, patient access, and patient satisfaction
Support revenue cycle processes including basic billing and coding workflows
Identify workflow gaps and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient experience
Communicate effectively with physicians, APPs, staff, and patients to support care delivery and operational goals
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and patient-centered team environment
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Licenses & Certifications: BLS certification preferred
Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in an orthopaedic practice, surgical specialty clinic, or multispecialty healthcare setting
Strong background in healthcare operations with exposure to clinical workflows, patient flow, and provider support
Prior supervisory or leadership experience managing clinical and/or administrative staff, including scheduling, onboarding, and performance management
Hands-on experience with orthopaedic-specific functions such as imaging coordination, DME, casting/bracing, and surgical workflows
Experience working with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Athena, NextGen) and maintaining documentation standards
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and regulatory requirements in an outpatient medical environment
Exposure to billing, coding workflows, and revenue cycle processes preferred
Experience with data tracking, reporting, and performance metrics strongly preferred
