Responsibilities
- Greets and prepares patients for provider examination and treatment.
- Performs general nursing care to patients.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
- Affords assistance to providers during procedures and ensures proper equipment maintenance.
- Engages in patient/family education to achieve desired outcomes.
- Reviews medical charts for completeness and documents all relevant information in the medical record.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of a school of nursing is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 90 days of employment is required.
- Certified in Clinical\BCLS (Basic Life Support) within 90 days of employment is required.
- One year of hospital or clinic nursing experience is preferred.
Qualifications
Graduate of a school of nursing is required. BSN is preferred. Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 90 days of employment is required. Certified in Clinical\BCLS (Basic Life Support) within 90 days of employment is required. One year of hospital or clinic nursing experience is preferred.
Skills
Nursing skills, patient care coordination, medication administration, and clinical documentation are essential.
