About the Role

Reports to the Administrative Director and works under the direct supervision of the Physician(s). The Urology Clinic Practice Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of the Urology clinic by coordinating and supervising clinic and administrative operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a professionally accredited LPN nursing school.
• Experience: 3–5 years of clinical experience in urology, urogynecology, or surgery; 5 years of management experience or relevant experience in a medical/physician outpatient facility.
• Licensure/Certification: Current Massachusetts LPN license; BLS healthcare provider certification.

Skills

• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records (EPIC, Meditech), Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of office and laboratory procedures.
• Ability to accurately read and write medical terminology.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills (phone and in‑person) and customer service skills.
• Multitasking ability in a high‑pressure environment.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Professional interaction with patients and colleagues; maintain confidentiality.
• Accurate processing of financial transactions and use of scheduling/record/billing systems.
• Understanding of growth and development, population‑specific data, and culturally competent care.
• Competence in front‑desk registration and medical assistant duties.
• Proficiency in training others on common PC applications.
• Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate staff.
