About the role
Responsible for providing clerical support to the Medical Education team. Maintain confidentiality of all information and provide flexibility in practice staffing arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Assists with onboarding and tracking of patients enrolled in the GLP1 program
- Serve as a point of contact for patients enrolled in the GLP1 program
- Coordinates with pharmacy to provide customer service support for scripting, tracking, and filling of GLP1 medications associated with the GLP1 program
- Prepares and submits reports related to scholarly projects in the resident continuity clinic
- Coordinates with GME leadership and GME coordinator to ensure resident templates are opened and applied according to the resident continuity clinic schedule
- Provides additional administrative support to the Associate Director of Graduate Medical Education as required
- Assist with scheduling meetings, with particular advance attention to preventing scheduling conflicts
- Handles telephone calls in a professional, courteous speaking manner; determines nature of all calls and initiates appropriate disposition
- Deals discreetly with highly sensitive, confidential written, electronic, and oral communications
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent required

- Minimum One Year Experience In Front Office Duties
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communications, with good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Possesses computer skills with proficiency in data entry and keyboarding skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks ensuring completion with minimal supervision
- Must have good attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters
- Ability to maintain professionalism when dealing with employees and visitors of the Center
Physical requirements
- Finger Dexterity: Using fingers to make small movements such as typing or picking up small objects

- Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information
- Repetitive Motions: Frequently and regularly using the wrists, hands, and fingers
- Visual: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or other materials
- Physical: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. May have to lift folders, files, papers, audio/video equipment, and other such items weighing up to approximately 25 lbs
