Clinic - Nurse Practitioner- St. Joseph Family Medical Care

About the role

St. Joseph Medical Group and Kansas City Physician Care, affiliated with St. Joseph Medical Center, are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their award-winning teams. This full-time, Monday–Friday (8 am–5 pm) position offers full-spectrum family medicine in a clinic located within St. Joseph Medical Center, using Epic EMR. The role involves seeing 18–24 patients per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide general care to patients of all ages with patience, care, compassion, and understanding.
• Conduct tests, record medical histories, and provide treatments within scope of practice.
• Assist physicians and enhance public awareness on the importance of health.
• Prescribe medications.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with specialization as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP).
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.
• Previous experience with electronic health records (EHR).
