About The Opportunity
As the Clinic Administrator, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for a high-volume maternal-fetal medicine/perinatal practice. You will work closely with physicians, APPs, nurses, and multidisciplinary partners to ensure exceptional patient outcomes, an outstanding patient experience, and efficient clinic operations. This leader will play a critical role in advancing care models, developing teams, improving access, and supporting innovative approaches to high-risk maternal care across the state.

Responsibilities
- Provide visible, engaged leadership for nursing and clinical operations within a complex, high-volume perinatal environment.
- Lead and develop a talented team of nurses, sonographers, genetic counselors, and clinical staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Partner closely with maternal-fetal medicine physicians, APPs, hospital leaders, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Drive quality, safety, patient experience, and operational performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve access and streamline care for patients with high-risk pregnancies.
- Support the development and implementation of innovative care delivery models.
- Use data and performance metrics to identify opportunities, measure outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
- Champion evidence-based nursing practice and professional development.
- Support recruitment, retention, onboarding, and development of high-performing clinical teams.
- Manage staffing, productivity, budgets, workflows, and operational resources.
- Collaborate across the organization and throughout the state to advance maternal health initiatives.
- Serve as a strong advocate for patients, families, providers, and the nursing profession.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required OR a combination of education and experience. Preferred: Master’s degree in business or health care management.
- License(s)/Certification(s):
- Preferred: Registered Nurse in state(s) of practice.
- IA Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care within 60 days of hire.
- IA Adult Dependent Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care within 60 days of hire.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of Leadership/Administration experience with a strong clinical background in compliance and regulation.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, including billing and collections, with ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT coding.
- Preferred: Healthcare experience or demonstrated clinical and leadership efficiency.
- Preferred: Clinical operation experience, personnel management, facility management, financial management, budgeting, and computer proficiency.
