Clinic Manager II

MultiCare Cancer Institute is a physician-led, multi-specialty group within MultiCare Health System, delivering integrated hematology, oncology, radiation, surgical and supportive care across Washington state. Each year, we diagnose and treat more than 6,000 new cancer cases across Olympia, Spokane, Tacoma and Yakima. We bring together advanced pathology, imaging and evidence-based treatment with holistic supportive services to provide personalized, high-quality cancer care. As we continue to grow, we are building the Pacific Northwest’s most comprehensive and high-value oncology network—projected to double in volume over the next five years.

About the role

The Clinic Manager II drives excellence in patient experience, employee and provider engagement, and fiscal responsibility, consistent with MultiCare’s core values. The role may oversee other leaders in addition to staff and often involves regular travel to and rounding in assigned clinics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all administrative functions of the practice location(s), including operations, marketing, and finance.
• Partner with senior leaders on physician production, compensation, scheduling, charge capture/reimbursement inquiries, referral processing, human resource management, medical and business information systems, ancillary services, general operations, and strategic planning and development.
• Distinction between Clinic Manager I and II is based on scope and span of control, with Clinic Manager II overseeing broader or more complex operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5 years of experience in a professional or technical role/function.
• 3 years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity.
• Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications.

Pay

The pay scale is $88,691.20 - $127,649.60 USD. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
