    About the role

As the Clinic Manager, you'll be responsible for both patient care and the day-to-day operations of the onsite clinic. You'll work collaboratively with Medcor's medical and operational leadership as well as key client stakeholders in Health & Safety, Human Resources, Environmental Health, and Benefits. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships, manage clinic operations, and directly impact the health and safety of the employees you serve.

    Responsibilities

    • Managing daily clinic operations, workflows, logistics, and scheduling
    • Providing hands-on patient care
    • Assessing and treating workplace injuries and illnesses using Medcor's evidence-based clinical protocols

    • Supporting OSHA recordkeeping
    • Partnering with client leadership and Medcor's clinical and operational teams
    • Providing exceptional service to employees and client stakeholders

    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with employees, client stakeholders, and Medcor leadership
    • A patient‑focused approach and commitment to providing excellent care

    Qualifications

    • Previous occupational health or employee health experience
    • Experience in emergency medicine, EMS, urgent care, or critical care
    • Previous clinic leadership or supervisory experience
    • Experience with workers' compensation, case management, or return‑to‑work programs
    • Experience working in an employer‑based or worksite clinic environment

    Skills

While many skills are listed above, key competencies include patient assessment, clinical protocol application, emergency response, case management, return‑to‑work facilitation, EMR documentation, OSHA recordkeeping, communication, leadership, and interpersonal relationship building.

But we need to ensure we don't invent content. The Skills section should be derived from posting, not invented. The posting includes "Strong patient assessment and clinical skills", "Excellent written and verbal communication skills", "Strong computer and technology skills, including comfort working with electronic medical records", "Ability to lift and carry a 50‑pound emergency response bag", "Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships". Those are skills. We could list them as bullet list under Skills. That would be better than a prose summary. Thus:

We also might include location? Not required as heading; could be a short p at top? The instruction: "Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it." So we could include location as a short p before sections. But not required. Might be okay to include a

    Location: Long Prairie, MN

. However they said fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. So we can include a short p for location. We must not include boilerplate like "Why Medcor?" etc. That's substantive? It's about company background; could be considered substantive but not under any heading. Could we include as a paragraph under About the role? Might be okay to include as a separate paragraph after About the role? But we have no heading for "Why Medcor?" It's not one of the allowed headings. We could incorporate that content into About the role paragraph or maybe drop it as it's not required. The instruction: "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." So we need to preserve that info. Where to put it? Could add a paragraph after About the role under same heading? Or we could create a section "About Medcor" but not allowed headings list. The allowed headings are limited to those eight. We could put it under About the role as additional paragraph. That would preserve info. Thus About the role section could have two paragraphs: first describing role, second about Medcor background. Let's extract "Why Medcor?" paragraph: "Why Medcor? Medcor has been providing occupational health and workplace healthcare solutions since 1984. We believe in supporting our clinical teams with the training, resources, and leadership they need to provide excellent patient care. Our employer-based clinics offer healthcare professionals the opportunity to use their clinical skills in a different type of environment while developing expertise in occupational health, workplace injury management, workers' compensation, and employee wellness." We can incorporate that as second paragraph under About the role. Now also there is "Why You'll Love This Opportunity" bullet list. That's also substantive. Could be included under About the role or maybe as a separate section? Not in allowed headings. Could incorporate into About the role as a list? But we already have Responsibilities list. Could add a subsection? Not allowed. Perhaps we can add a short paragraph summarizing those points, but that would be summarizing away detail. Better to include as a list under About the role? The instruction: Use

    • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. This list is about why you'll love the opportunity, not duties/requirements/benefits. But still a list; we could still use
      • as it's a list. The rule says use
        • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. It doesn't forbid using for other lists, but we should follow. However we could incorporate as a paragraph summarizing but that loses detail. Maybe we can treat it as part of About the role and use
          • anyway; it's still a list. Thus About the role could contain:
