About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Clinic Supervisor in a fast-paced, high-volume multi-specialty clinic environment. This float position involves working within women's health, family practice, and pediatrics, ensuring seamless operations through accurate insurance verification, documentation, and referrals. The Clinical Supervisor plans and coordinates systems, activities, and functions of their respective departments, manages clinical services, and acts as a liaison between departments to interact effectively with professionals, administrative staff, clinical staff, patients, and community agencies.

Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day clinic operations in a high-volume setting.
- Ensure accuracy in insurance verification and documentation processes.
- Manage and facilitate patient referrals efficiently.
- Provide support and supervision to clinic staff.
- Implement and maintain clinic protocols and procedures.
- Plan, organize, and direct the delivery of department services.
- Assure continuing education and training of staff; identify, analyze, and work toward solutions for departmental problems.
- Assist the manager with selection, interviews, and hiring of staff as needed.
- Supervise orientation of new employees to departmental and center-wide programs and activities.
- Identify and coordinate training needs for staff.
- Plan and delegate daily work assignments, supervise staff for completion of assigned work, and evaluate staff based on performance standards.
- Provide staff with time to attend appropriate meetings and job-related trainings.
- Ensure staff maintains open and consistent communication with managed care operations for care coordination support.
- Oversee staff scheduling.
- Participate in evaluating, formulating, interpreting, and implementing departmental standards of care, policies, and procedures.
- Assure direct reports meet licensure and accreditation standards; participate in preparation for site visits.
- Assure implementation of the organization’s mission in the operation and work environment of the department.
Requirements
- MA diploma is required.
- Proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Records).
- Experience in an FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) setting.
- Bilingual in Spanish with the ability to read, write, and speak fluently.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Supervisory experience.
Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced and high-volume, with a large number of Spanish-speaking patients. This role offers hands-on experience in both front and back office settings, ideal for those eager to advance a career in the medical field.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $42.00 per hour. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
For the permanent role, the pay range is $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year.

Schedule
This is a fully onsite position based in Los Angeles, CA. The role is initially a Contract-to-Hire position, with the potential to transition to a permanent position.
