The individual in this position will manage a Walk-In Clinic, General Surgery, and Occupational Medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
  • Perform and oversee scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
  • Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
  • Determine and justify needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitor usage, and oversee proper working order and/or stock supplies.
  • Create and foster an environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Ensure department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This position serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors. Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information. Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling, and reviewing work to ensure quality standards.
  • Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance, and administering corrective action for staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required. Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
