About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) to provide clinical support and professional nursing care under the supervision of providers and RNs.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties such as injections, medication administration, EKGs, phlebotomy, and procedures within state scope.
• Implement patient education plans and coordinate care including referrals, medications, and follow-ups.
• Document assessments, prepare patients for exams, and relay information to providers.
• Perform focused assessments, evaluate patient responses, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Maintain a safe environment, ensure patient confidentiality, and practice infection control.
• Manage medications, immunizations, lab sample collection, and IV therapy if certified.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, with an active and unrestricted LVN/LPN license.
• Current BLS certification; IV certification if required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and electronic medical records.
• Strong communication, customer service, and emergency response skills.
• Ability to perform medical procedures, give injections, and draw blood.
• Must meet health screening requirements, including immunizations and TB testing.
• Physical dexterity, ability to lift up to 35 pounds, and occasional exposure to communicable diseases.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• IV certification and 2+ years of medical experience.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
