Clinic Lead

About the Role

Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks in a primary care setting at Prime Healthcare Medical Group. This position works under the Clinic Manager/Director to assist with maintaining efficient patient flow and quality care during clinic hours, and assists supervisors in training new staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks.
• Manage appointment scheduling and chart management.
• Provide information to patients to help them fully utilize and benefit from clinic services.
• Convey a positive image of the organization.
• Delegate and follow up with medical assistant staff within the clinic.
• Work as part of a healthcare team including physicians, NPs/PAs, patient services representatives, medical records, medical assistants, health educators, and social workers to provide comprehensive, non-judgmental care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants or Surgical Technologists, or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician clinic setting.
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained current.
• Current medical assistant credential from a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Credentialing organization.
• One year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic setting preferred.
• Lead/Management experience preferred.
• Training/Preceptor experience preferred.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $23.10 to $33.46 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
