Clinic - Lead

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks
• Handle appointment scheduling and chart management
• Provide information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from clinic services
• Convey a positive image of organization
• Delegate and follow up with medical assistant staff within the clinic
• Work under the Clinic Manager/Director to assist with maintaining efficient patient flow and quality care during clinic hours
• Assist supervisors in training new staff
• Work as part of a healthcare team including physicians, NP/PAs, patient services representatives, medical records, medical assistants, health educators and social workers to provide comprehensive care in a non-judgmental manner

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants, Surgical Technologists, or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician clinic setting
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained current
• Current medical assistant credential from a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Credentialing organization required
• One year experience as a medical assistant in a clinic setting preferred
• Lead/Management experience preferred
• Training/Preceptor experience preferred

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $23.10 to $33.46. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering factors including skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
