This position requires reliable transportation and availability to work at each CAC location as needed.
Schedule
Monday – Thursday 11am–8pm, Friday 8am–5pm
Responsibilities
- Email correspondence
- Answering phone calls and checking the main phone line for voice messages
- Transferring phone calls to appropriate contacts
- Making copies
- Monitoring incoming faxes and distributing them appropriately
- Scanning client files into the database
- Processing, sorting, and distributing office mail
- Completing cab requests for clients when needed
- Reviewing clinician calendars and ensuring all schedules are up to date
- Updating clinician schedules in the main calendar on a daily basis
- Updating Electronic Health Records calendars as needed
- Processing requests for client records
- Monitoring room space at the center and booking rooms for students/staff
- Greeting clients and guests arriving at the center
- Directing visitors and notifying staff of appointment arrivals
- Watching children in the waiting area and ensuring their safety
- Ensuring the waiting area is cleaned at the end of each day
- Restocking office supplies
- Completing closing procedures for the Agency on a daily basis
- Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Business Administration Manager or Executive Director
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities can be acquired
- Eligibility for certification as required by regulatory agencies
- Authorized to work in the United States (the University will not sponsor employment visas for this position)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Previous work experience with children, adolescents, and families
Pay
$16.00 per hour
