About the Role
Novant Health Senior Care Primary Care is seeking a Clinic Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our growing practice and help shape the future of patient-centered care. As the Clinic Administrator, you'll manage, supervise, and coordinate all operational functions within a small to medium-sized physician practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of a busy primary care practice.
- Supervise, coach, and develop clinical and administrative team members.
- Partner with providers to ensure efficient workflows and exceptional patient care.
- Monitor operational performance, staffing, scheduling, and financial goals.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Novant Health standards.
- Support patient satisfaction initiatives while driving quality and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Education: Must meet one of the following: Four year Bachelor's degree; or Associate's degree with four years of relevant professional experience; or eight years of relevant professional experience, required.
- Licensure/certification/registration: One-plus years of practice manager experience preferred with a Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- Additional skills required: Current and future trends/practice in area of responsibility; regulatory and governing standards, policies and procedures; information systems and software used in area of responsibility; equipment used in performing assigned duties; application of safety and infection control policies and procedures; skills in interviewing and selection process; understanding of budgeting, staffing, payroll and purchasing processes; implementation of competency, feedback, development and progressive discipline processes; teambuilding, conflict management, and interpersonal relationship skills; principles of adult learning and teaching methods/models; decision making, project leadership and consultation, delegation and communication skills; understanding of customer needs and expectations and knowledge for improvement to exceed customer expectations.
