Position Summary

The Clinical Supervisor is a registered nurse responsible for the overall quality of patient care at a specified site of Covenant Medical Management. The supervisor plans, directs, coordinates and controls the work of the professional and para-nursing personnel in direct collaboration with the Office Manager. The Clinical Supervisor is also responsible for daily operations, and performs the majority of their responsibilities in the work area in conjunction with staff.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, interviews/hires, and staffs the clinical team.
• Develops and enhances a collaborative working relationship with physicians and non-physician practitioners.
• Determines optimal team composition by making day-by-day team assignments based on appointments for physicians or non-physician practitioners and chemotherapy treatments.
• Determines the appropriate indicators to achieve a successful team and monitors these indicators, providing consistent, frequent feedback to the Office Manager and team members regarding performance.
• Schedules and prepares for clinical staff meetings in conjunction with the Office Manager.
• Establishes and evaluates core competencies for all clinical team members and identifies learning needs.
• Maintains knowledge of all issues relating to Cardiology and serves as a liaison with the Office Manager, Practice Manager, Physicians, and additional individuals responsible for coordinated customer care.
• Maintains strictest confidentiality and collaborates with the patient, physician, and other care team members as part of a team-based approach to overall patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum Two (2) Years Of Nursing Leadership Experience.
• TN Registered Nurse License.
