Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Affords assistance to assigned clients in identifying and advancing towards the achievement of the client's chosen goal.
- Advocates for clients in all areas of treatment.
- Empowers clients in meeting their goals.
- Fosters communication and cooperation among agencies.
- Engages in client medication support; coordinates communication between doctor, client, and pharmacy.
- Provides prompt intervention in the event of a crisis, both to stop the crisis and to notify when indicated, persons and agencies necessary for the resolution of the crisis.
- Delivers “on-the-spot” support that is both beneficial to the clients and consistent with the philosophy of the program.
- Attends to the safety, health, and well-being of clients.
- Writes Quarterly reports to provide necessary information to the Regional Center point of contact for each client on caseload.
- Reviews and ensures timely completion of Special Incident Reports, as well as Mandated Reports.
- Completes paperwork as assigned promptly and meets agency standards for billable units per month; ensures that all notes meet billing standards for content and configuration.
- Visits clients in their homes periodically to provide direction and support.
Minimum Qualifications And Certifications & Licenses
- Education: Graduation from a four (4) year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field.
- Experience: Four (4) years of varied experience as a provider of mental health services.
- Licenses & Certifications: California driver’s license & current vehicle insurance/registration if driving; reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old, excluding all modes of two-wheeled transport, inclusive of bicycles, mopeds, and motorcycles.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
Compensation
$23.00 - $25.00 an hour.
